Return Authorization numbers are required to send any repairs back for service. Please call 1-877-447-9216 or email support@avlex.com with the full model number, serial number and a complete description of the problem to receive an RA#.

NOTE: Products with serial numbers that have been deliberately removed will NOT be repaired by Avlex Service Department.

Shipping cost to return product to Avlex for repair is the responsibility of the customer. Repairs will be returned to the customer by United Parcel Service (UPS) Ground. Validated warranty repair shipping as well as parts and labor will be paid by Avlex. COD payment charges will be added to the regular freight charge. Other return shipping methods besides UPS are available but may entail an additional handling charge.

We cannot ship to PO Boxes.

When packaging your Avlex product for repair, please use at least 3 inches of padding all around the product for protection during shipment. All items should be packed in an outer carton to protect the original box. We recommend you use a carrier that can track your shipment if you want to know the delivery status of the repair. Insurance is also recommended.

Turnaround time for repairs is typically no more than five working days from when a repair is received by Avlex. We do everything possible to repair products received by UPS NEXT DAY AIR on the same day it is received. Repairs received UPS NEXT DAY AIR will be returned to the customer via UPS NEXT DAY AIR. Any other carrier or delivery priority is subject to the current repair turnaround time.

Many times it is quicker and more cost effective for us to exchange an item for a comparable, previously repaired unit rather than repair it. Once repair or exchange has been determined, we will contact you with the exact amount before returning the item to you.

Please enclose a note explaining the symptom or difficulties observed with the product’s performance. Also, include a contact name, the street address for return shipping and a daytime phone number should Avlex need to contact you regarding your repair. Please be sure to attach the RA# on the outside of any repair you send in.

A copy of your dated sales receipt for the product is required for all warranty repair claims. “Store Stock” product is “Store Owned” and must have proof of purchase for a warranty claim.
